The Vestax Corporation was first established on October 23rd, 1977 under the name Shiino Musical Instruments Corp. In 1982, the name was changed to Shiino Vesta Fire Corp and finally to Vestax Corp in 1983.
Over the first 30 years of its existence, Vestax has grown into a leading producer of quality, original, innovative and reliable music instruments and equipment.
The founder and then President Mr. Shiino was a craftsman of guitars, starting a line of the world's top end guitars and stringed products.
From thereon, the story continues to Vestax original components, preamps, delays and reverb effects and many more. The MTR followed and with its success, it was now time to take this know-how and passion forward and commence full-scale operations as a manufacturer of international proportions.
Vestax entered the DJ market in the early 80's with a versatile mixing console, the DSM-310 (the standard format 19" mixer). Then came the PMC-30, PMC-10 (the first non 19" mixer), and then came the birth of the revolutionary PMC-05 which opened the doors to millions from hip-hop to scratch and continued on with classics of the industry supporting all genres from house, techno, electro like the 46, 55, 06, 07 and so on.
In 2000 came the newest member of it's diverse Turntable family, the PDX-2000. From thereon, from the 08, VMC line to the 580 and now the Computer Interface Controllers, Vestax has kept up to the demands of the DJ.
Today at Vestax we continue to listen to the DJ and musicians and produce products that are wanted and waited by the millions.

Next-Generation PDX Turntables

PDX-3000 (straight arm) and PDX-3000Mix (curved arm). Dynamic static balance and vibration absorption pipes have been applied to the new S type tone arm, creating an excellent tone and following capability. Insulators have increased the howling margin been re-designed to have an air damping system which has increased the howling margin dramatically. As a totally new feature, MIDI input connection is available on the PDX-3000. This allows external devices such as keyboards to control the rotation speed expanding the possibilities of the turntable.
