RME Audio takes software support seriously, and has compiled drivers for use with the new Mac OS operating system macOS 11 Big Sur with full support for Intel & M1 (ARM) Computer.

RME’s latest driver provides compatibility between macOS Big Sur and all RME USB audio interfaces. RME’s non-USB interfaces (PCle, Thunderbolt and FireWire) and all legacy audio interfaces released since 2001, are also ready for macOS 11 Big Sur. *Digiface AVB is currently not compatible.
